I’ve been asked to quote for around 20m of disabled ramp with various platforms and hand rails. I’ve been provided with a spec but wondered if anyone out there has done anything of the sort and had any advice. For instance do you leave an upstand to avoid any chance if running off

there's a whole raft of reg.s for this ..
Pam has it filed, but will have to search it out ...
I too have it some where .. we'll see who finds their copy first
there's a lot to it especially slopes, kick boards, hand rail heights, placement, etc.
Might find some help searching DDA compliance

You’ve been provided with a spec, I’d be tempted to stick to that, then you can’t go wrong?

But he can .. unless it's DDA compliant it won't get signed off and could find himself in a sticky situation over payment

Quote to construct to spec and make sure it's watertight.... Any issues then become designers problem

Now I know steps had to dig out for some as no chance to get ramps in on this site

Build to spec but make sure it’s within 6mm tolerance.... ( my new failsafe tolerance thanks to @Gunners )
