Don't know if anyone is aware, but Bearmach are no more ..:(
Apparently, they sold out to some big parts seller circa 18 months ago, who bought it hoping the value of the biz would rise and they'd move it on again ... with all the sh1t the last few years and all other developments it didn't :( ... and it's quietly been run down to now't with their current stocks being depleted to approaching zero levels. So cheap landy bits ain't as available as they were, in fact some things're getting nigh on impossible to find ....
been trying to track down a tail box for the P38 today ... the 5 year old one on there has suddenly decided to disintegrate .. cost 40 quid in '17 ...... today's was £110 - OE only :oops: ... it's an odd ball on there - N American spec. .. single R/H tail to avoid the LPG filler on the left ... but was available easily back then.
axle height sensors 85 quid each locally ..... bought a set of four off the net (obviously gonna be Ying Tong, as most of Bearmach's stuff was) 95 quid ... she'll get the full set ... the diagnostics on the lap top were showing a fault on the O/S/R, as I suspected .. won't be long 'fore the rest start playing up, so i'll do the lot
the insane prices they've been making lately might start to unwind a bit :unsure:

Don’t worry Druid, there’s plenty of old landys in hedges to keep ours going for a few decades yet. You just need to ditch that P38 and fire that 200 series disco of yours up for its second life!

:oops::oops: 200 series :oops::oops: wash yer mouf out ...... Mr Rover's finest 3.5 V8 in there Ollie ...... and yes it'll eventually get some attention .. SWMBO is constantly bleating on about 'outing' it -- no chance ... it's done 41k from new - I'm the second owner ... first owner garaged it nightly, never fitted a tow bar and never used the back seats :giggle: .................. and I gas-ed it years ago -- does 26 on petrol ... and effectively 50-ish on gas, pound for pound :giggle::giggle:

I found maltings to be better than bearmach.
The website doesn't have everything listed so I always give them a call.
I just bought a fuel pump made in in Germany for £220 last week.

I use Brookwells or John Craddock, Paddocks good too. But these days I find it easier to just drop it of at my local landy man and let him have all the fun ☺️

trouble is a lot of these people bought from Bearmach who had little outfits all over the place creating the bits for them.
