Demo firm from Yorkshire way,high reach driver in yard at farm base for a day,cutting up with new shears,tells young yard lad,'finished with them',at home time n take them off......comes in next morning,shears missing???There used to be an old chap worked at our yard, one day fitter orders a new front spring for one of the 8 wheelers, gets delivered to the yard, Ray come out from brew time carries the spring across the yard (thinking it’s scrap) where Simon the crane man grabs it and throws it into the shear, chop chop by by spring
Asks kid n gets told,'you said they were finished with....so put them in scrap skip'!
Driver looks in 40 yard bin,there's nearly near shear,has to get them out quick before boss comes in,figures the drivers trying to get them out of yard,takes him down bottom field n 'dispatchs' him,permanently
