Hi, I found this forestry bulldozer online. I was wondering what kind of equipment does a forestry bulldozer have and what shape does it have compared to a traditional one? Does it have a towing winch, a ram, maybe a swan crane to tow the logs? What do you think of this brand compared to caterpillar liebher komatsu and john deere? I noticed that Chinese machines all have the same style and frame. Maybe a company produces them for everyone with the same stamens and then the various manufacturers assemble, fit the pieces and add their own livery, color and brand. Thanks, regards

That Shantui has the same standard forestry equipment everyone else fits, roller guards, ROPS/FOPS, sweeps, winch with raised fair lead for skidding, a presumably a radiator guard. What the base tractor is like I wouldn’t know, but they’ve taken a few cues from older Cats and Komatsus.

The Rome Plough in the b&w picture was a pretty standard Fitment on USMC and SeaBees D7’s for jungle warfare, not so much for civilian use apart from a few specialist companies as it was pretty much a single use tool.
