Bobcat e17 cutting out

Hi all

I’m new to this forum

I’m having a bit of trouble with my bobcat e17, when on full revs and I start to push any heavy work the engine cuts out and it’s only just recently started doing this.

What are the first places you’d start to look for issues? Any and all advice would be great

fuel supply - filters (including any in banjo unions) fuel pump, old/collapsing fuel lines, breather on the fuel tank/cap

So when I fill it up with fuel I get a leak some where but it’s only when fill up no other time

You need to look over and renew as required the bits @V8Druid mentioned. Not a difficult job.

A leak when filling sounds unrelated- your symptoms are fuel starvation. The leak does suggest that the whole system needs TLC though.

Most likely it’s just a blocked fuel filter

Yeah I’ll start with the fuel system and give it a overhaul

Unless it's a 2023 onwards machine it'll be a Kubota D722
