Benford TV1200 problem

Hi I have Benford TV1200 roller it starts and drives vibrates fine the only issue is sometimes it won’t go backwards and sometimes it won’t go forwards without pushing the lever say backwards first quick then forwards so it will go forward or Vice a versa it’s like the brake gets stuck on can anyone help

Ours you have to be sat fully on the seat before it will go. Is there a switch not getting made somewhere

F+r cable stretched or on its way to being snapped? Could even be the outer cable damaged.

Im fully on the seat. You can used it all day as long as say if your going forward and then you want to go backwards then you need to go straight back with the lever fast otherwise it won’t go backwards it just make a straining noise like the brakes stuck on. It will do this in both directions.

Lol no it’s not and I don’t have a box of matches

There is a solenoid block near the front right corner of the roller, the valve is sticky and opens slowly, leaving the brake on, strip out the spool and clean with brake cleaner, don’t use emery on it, put it back together see if it improves.

That looks like the free wheel valve for winching etc, you have an old model, please post more pics of the drive motors and hubs both sides.

I would guess you are looking for something with a solenoid valve coil on it

Yes it would be the case drain to the top of the tank, one from each motor, one from the hydroststatic pump and the tow valve, another from the steering orbital, good shout, you could always follow the hose from the brake packs back to a valve, it should have a solenoid valve operated by movement of the f/r lever.
