How do you go for lift height on your e10? Does it work out ok?Here's the spec sheet for the digga range:

The PDD would technically be best for a micro, but as you can see, torque is well down on the others. It's a trade off, as to gain torque you will loose speed. What ground are you usually on?
I run a PDX2 between three machines, E10 to E27. It's pretty slow on the E10, but gets a 12" flight down in a couple of minutes into mudstone or chalk with flints, which is good going in my book. The auger sometimes stalls doing this, so I'm glad I traded speed to torque as slower is still faster than fast but stalling all the time.
But if you spend most of your time drilling 6" holes in sand, you probably want to trade a little torque for speed.
With regards to the cradle hitch- you simply don't have the lift height or reach on an E10 to use one properly in my book. Any movement over rough or sloping ground you're best off taking the flight off.
Yeah, it’s ok. It’s a bit unwieldy but better than a set of coon spoons in clay or stony ground! How do you go for lift height on your e10? Does it work out ok?
Yours is a bigger model as well? At that price its hardly worth buying second hand (looking at that ebay one)Think I paid 1600 plus vat for auger and three bits
It's a funny thing second hand market sometimes people look at second hand price of something and think if it's that much second hand how much is it new, so don't even bother to ring up for a new price. Especially with stuff that aint that common, only a phone call or email to check.Yours is a bigger model as well? At that price its hardly worth buying second hand (looking at that ebay one)
been on/off ebay several times thatI`ve got no idea what they are worth, or cost new, not mine and nothing to do with me.
