I have an array of cordless kit - but you can’t beat a numatic 230v for cleaning. They make cordless variant now I think?
I have a DW cordless in the van but would chose the Henry every time .

Henry has one hell of a suck fair play to him
bought a little cordless from Aldi last year - 's an upright but never use the extension and head .. keep it as a handheld and it's been bloody excellent -- IIRC it's made by Tower, which has always been decent tack and has a quite decent suck to it too

Milwaukee is ok...hose is short tho and annoys me.
Tbh I detest hoovering cars out...never seem to be able to get the crap out the carpets.
Rubber mats and power washer is the future.
Tbh her old Miele is best by far.

Dyson..honestly how do they still sell them? Battery life literally a joke. Swapped ours at least twice and unless you blast out with airline they are useless. But she still likes it for quick stuff.

Yeah our cordless Dyson used to block up all the time requiring dismantling, so noisy I felt like wearing ear muffs, and the usable battery life in high power mode you'd be lucky to get one footwell hovered out. Oh and the price- what a pile.

It gets wheeled out onto the pavement on a long lead! But not this time of year
she'll still need to be a contortionist to hoover a car with a cordless from inside the car in the p*ssing rain :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Our DC01 (still going strong:giggle:) requires works a lot better with, a Druid service every 4-6 weeks - 150 psi and a bit of a strip down and it's like a new 'un ... some sort of suck but the stupid 24" wand on the end of the hose is a PITA as is the concertina hose - TBF though, little matches it for cleaning the house - even Henry doesn't do as good a job
as for the costs of Dyson gear -- they're off their corporate heads with the asking prices  - absolutely bonkers

Not a handheld but I thought it worth a mention , I’ve been using a twin motored numatic for years as garage hoover doing all cars and vans but it got damaged in house move and I couldn’t get replacement parts so reluctantly had to throw it out. I needed a hoover for new build and in haste bought a 70 ish quid Titan hoover from screw fix . The feckin thing is awesome! Now the house is built it is the new garage hoover and it sucks like feck . Even the Dyson loving Mrs P was impressed with it .

You can get battery converters for the dyson to use makita batteries but it is still a load of rubbish.
Makita hand held 18v is complete rubbish.
Makita 36v upright is ok for house hold duties.
Henry is the best but they are annoying to move about.

Ooh I wonder what these are like. Surely Henry wouldn't make rubbish and ruin their heritage??

General consensus online is the Henry is far better than the Dyson. Better battery time, quieter and plenty of suck for a cordless. Hmm.

Just remembered the Dyson emptying it was s**t too. Yeah ok it didn't need bags but generally the dust went everywhere trying to empty it into the bin. Bags as per Henry much cleaner.
