Gate hinge. Upright sits in the bigger hole. Still some about on old gates round here.

looks like an old implement or tractor tool box, mounting holes in the bottom and hinge pivots top one broken. looks similar to a bomford toolbox. i think the lids had names on them. are there any markings at all on it.

Suppose you just bolted it to any tractor or implement you want.
It had a bit of red paint on it

bamfords made lots of farm machinery. My ex’s dad buys the vintage corn mills but I’ve never seen a toolbox like those with any of them.

Thats it. well done. Its my mates and he thought it was a tractor tool box
i only knew because my ex boss has one his daughter bought him for a present. he has nothing fron bamfords to fit it to, i think he was going to put it on his old plough that he goes to ploughing match's with.
