My ten foot alloy ramps that are rated for the weight wobble a lot with my e10. Remember it’s the tons per metre that matter, as an e10 is overall short and will reduce capacity somewhat.

I wasn’t willing to take a chance on some cheaper ramps, if it snaps whilst loading you are in serious trouble.

I like to stand on the blade (at front) while loading, especially at the crossover hump where they join the bed. Makes it feel a lot safer, like loading a tracked chipper.

Tipping bed will reduce angle but hard on your pivot points and the rest of the bed with such weight, I do it for a ride on but wouldn’t it and e10.

@doobin you’re right. I’ll probably sell these on and get some 3m ones specced for the job. For the sake of 3-400 more it’s not worth the risk.

If you're looking to buy new take note of the loading height quoted, the bottom of the ramp is cut off to the angle to suit the height and if you're loading height is less the ramps have a habit of kicking up as you drive onto them at the bottom and it can dislodge them at the top.

pretty fair deflection in them at just over half capacity .. do look like nice ramps though and difficult to make at sensible handling weights
