Barrow doesn't look robust enough made tbh. Muck truck are not cheap for a reason I've seen the cheaper versions first hand when i borrowed one off a mate when i needed two

Truxta trucks are good. Just before this Corona we was in talks of becoming a dealer / importer for another German manufacture of a few things (not plates) and dumpers was one... Pricing was correct. Was due to go over a few weeks ago to check it out but decided against for Corona.. When we return to work after whatever lock down its top of my list :)

Lumag make a dumper like this, again very decent for the £

Truxtra were horrendously expensive when I looked. For what you get, at least.

I don't regret going MuckTruck. My Lumag track dumper has been good for the limited use its had, but I'd have a lot more faith in the Muck Truck transmission long term.

Change the transmission oils lads- it's the cheapest preventative maintenance you can do. John Deere x165 ride-on mowers for example- they claim the transmission is sealed for life. That's utter bollocks- it's a TuffTorque K46, and the OEM oil change recommendation is after 50 hours, then 200 hours thereafter. You overheat the transmisison oil and it's had it. Quite specific on the grades it wants too- about £50 for five litres. Thats hydrostatic, so more crucial, but oil changes never hurt on geared units.

That reminds me @Regy53 - you were going to find out what oil should be in the transmission of that high tip Lumag?
