Adaptor plate

Morning all
Is there a specific name for the adaptors that’s let you use your standard quick hitch with attachments with different sizings?

I’ve dropped on a hm100q breaker cheap as chips, I can get it to work in my quick hitch but it’s not perfect fit, I’d rather get it right.

The breaker is the one with 3 holes in the side rather than a headstock so need to get something to swap it from jcb figment to bobcat figment if that’s makes sense.

Or will it be easier to just make my own?
(Only issue with this is I only have a mug which I think might not be man enough for the plate I’d need)

That will be a custom made jobby. A good local fab shop should be able to sort it.

Post some pics here for ideas.

Don’t mess around with it, weld a flat plate ontop with 6 bolt holes and bolt on a boss plate to fit your machine.
Cut the top off the breaker if it stands too tall.

Pic is from eBay but the same top think the short side is 80mm centres and the long side is 90mm centres.

The only issue with welding a plate to top is if I need to strip it I’ll have to cut the welds.

I’ve a couple of mates that build them vac-ex type machines they might be able to knock something up for me, I’ve got some plate lying around so might knock something up an see if they will weld it up.

Open to more suggestions though if anyone thinks of better ideas.

a pic of the whole thing'd help
make up two cheek plates tall enough to bolt to existing pin holes and take a new set of pins above, to suit your hitch ctrs (which are??) ... could keep it fairly low doing that

My dipper gap is 105mm and 123mm c-c
this is 110mm gap 80mm and 90mm centres
I was thinking of making the cheeks to suit the breaker and a plate tight to the top then a set of cheeks at what I require on top, but wasn’t sure if there was an item already produced off the shelf at decent money or if it’s definitely goner be a fab job, fairly simple fab up job though, if I had a bigger welder I’d tackle it myself.

I did think that but but looked a little close, I’m going to have get the tape measure owt and have a good look at that option arnt I?
Wasn’t sure if it would make it a little weak but I suppose if a boss gets welded in it should be fine, definitely the easiest route.

It's ripe for just leaving with a local fab shop. Tell them the dims you need it to be and leave it with them. Any further thinking is overkill.
