Atlasrob/ @Hydremaduck - Maximum Bob, Numbawun ... known to many as 'the Messiah' :giggle:, officially hung up his boots last Friday.:oops:

Many will have the pleasure of knowing him, many will know of him, he certainly gave me some seriously sound advice, when I was 'duck hunting' and a lot afterwards too ...
the industry will be one hell of an operator/font of knowledge shorter for his retiring from it.
Hope he has a great and long retirement.

few pix below of some of his mounts for interest - if you cut him in half he'd have rubber duck printed right through him like a stick of rock
not that he can't handle tracks either -- IIRC he started on a twin engine-ed UH20 'Tachi in Algeria laying pipe lines as a youngster.

some great pix from him lost when the old CEF died
I'm sure @Vinpetrol 'd have a few stories about the man too ;):)
so ......
he once said that when this turned up at some site, one of his mates told him "his dining table had arrived" :ROFLMAO: (leg on each corner)

and then he bought a 'tilty' ... one of the first/very early adopters ... probably one of the last pix of this one, before ...............

he took possession of this fine specimen

he'd been down to Chez Druid a few months before and had a play with mine ... and was seriously impressed with the build quality, so added them to his shopping list on his next mount change -- rest's history ;) and they/it did him proud ... IIRC he clocked 11,500hrs on it and it now resides with our own @Richard Hunton in its second/next life

first day's arrival on site ... must've been like a dog with three tails

and finally - a bit of a collector's item ;) -- last edition :ROFLMAO:

and from the man himself .. hoping he might even put in a very rare appearance here 'praps ... sad that he chose to restrict his SM focus severely a while back - but with more time on his hands, we never know ;):giggle:

Lucky man to live long enough to have a full career that he enjoyed and be able to retire from it.

Land and Water ? I think he had a case cx130 same as mine on a barge at one point that might have been with them . I did it once with an old hitachi duck and a breaker breaking under water . I defo don’t want to do that in my retirement !
