My recent purchase tractor is a 4WD
I’m not sure that the tyres on it are original . It looks like it should have bigger back tyres . I’m aware though that 4WD tractor tyres need to be sized to accomodate the drive ratio.
Tyres on it are these .
Rear 12.4-28
Front 10.5-20
My tractor is a Ford 335 Highway utility year 1983
It is a construction version of the Ford 3910
The 3910 is fitted as standard with these for the 4WD version
Rear 13.6-28
Front 8.3-24
Also an option listed for 3910 4WD
Rear 14.9-28
Front 9.5-24
I don’t understand the tyre sizes , what are my options on original wheels to get bigger back tyres ?
How can I check ratio to know what front rear combos would work on the tractor for its ratio ?
