3cx transmission filter change schedule

Hi all

Would anybody know how often this filter is due to be changed ? We have never ever done one and I have a customer moaning at me as while the digger was serviced the trans filter was not done and it has done 500 hours ( since it was done) I thought these would be a lot longer

First 100 then every 500 but the oil only gets changed every 1000 acording to the manual I could find online but it might vary by year.

Is there not a service schedule in the machines own manual or there's often a sticker you can interpret

I’m sure it’s every 500 hours, that’s what we’ve always done anyway.

That's what it says in in the P8 & P12 manuals.
Later machines may have extended intervals. What year / serial is it?

I did them every 6 months and dropped the oil annually. Nice easy one to do as well

I also did the hydraulic filter every 6 months, my machines get worked properly(no idle time!) and hammer is generally on weekly so it’s a good one to keep clean!

I dont know this has all come about over the bank holiday. I got it in, explained serviced recently, lads checked engine oil = clean and left it at that. Customer got machine and trans filter was not done = 500 hours use. I dare not right what he told me on here but lets say he wasn’t happy and I’m not a man who likes to disappoint. We have never ever changed a trans filter , however its a used machine it isn’t a jcb network thing, I’m afraid we do obvious servicing there’s no where near the Margin to do all this stuff its a fine line

my boss had service contract with jcb and i am fairly sure on the 500 hour services every filter was changed and all oils apart from hydraulic.

Was clearing out some old accounts yesterday, from 2011 full filter set for a 3cx!!
