3CX Black cab turbo

Hello everyone, I've just joined this forum because it looks like the members know their onions.

I've got a Black cab turbo, 4WD, extradig with the auto reset function. It's got low hours and what look like it's original rear tyres. It came from a sale up at Lofthouses a few years ago where the owner bought it as a one year old machine from the dealer in West Yorkshire.

I'm looking to sell it but before I put it on the market I need to replace the Turbo due to a crack in between the turbine and the compressor. Does anyone know the best place to buy a replacement? All feedback greatly appreciated.

That’s the pups nuts in it’s day used to run one myself use to hear the turbo whistle long before the machine came into view

The last perkins turbo I got came from the local truck parts factor that I use. I`ve also had some stuff from DiPerk, they weren't crazy on prices but you need to open a account to use them.

Ah...good to know. Yep, hopefully I'll get the full on turbo whistle when its fixed.

Make sure you check oil line in and out when you do fit the new turbo, it could be cracked through heat or no oil!
