1. I've got a weld on blade edge to go on my grading TB016 grading bucket, I'm assuming on a grader the bevel will be on the top edge? Also how much protrusion from the bucket edge to the blade edge I was thinking around 40mm?
2. I've got a 2m piece of 70mm channel that I was thinking of drilling and bolting to 1 of the buckets as an improvised grading edge for type 1 etc, anyone done this and is the steel substantial enough ?

The piece i had was left from when I did the tipper back last year approx 70 x 40 maybe even 63 x 35
will be a 76 x 38 probably and if it's the 63 x 32 it'll deffo be too light at 2m ... pretty flimsy section ... the 76'd just about handle it, treated with respect -- 102 x 51'd be a much better bet ... pretty stiff for a small channel

just occurred to me ... are you talking rolled sections or formed sections, bent up out of plate ?

So tried the beam, the 1 i was going to use was to small a section but found another with brackets welded to it, ground them off and it worked a treat
