2.5 -3 ton mini required

Hi all,a friend of mine is after a tidy older mini to take down to France for a self build,he's new to plant and so I said I would have a look around for him,
As per usual the budget is tight(7000 max),2.5 to 3 ton,age not an issue.

Will keep my eyes open it’s bottomed our at that number so if and when he finds one he likes get it quick

Thanks for that,personally I think he may struggle to find anything in sensible condition at that money but you never know.I might advise him to look at 1.6-1.8 t machines with expanding carriage more chance of a tidy one methinks.

there's a guy Gloucester/Worcester/Malvern way has had a few on ebay recently at that sort of price level ... was considering a taky myself from them

That looks honest and a decent bet for the money,at 3.5 ton just a bit chunky to tow,(do'nt know how on it the plod are in rural France though!)

the guy usually has a page full, but appears to be on his Hols ATM, from the few listings he has up .... has had a few nice tools in the last 12 months .... really regret not buying a Kobelco he had .... was very cheap .... bigger than I wanted, but was a lot for not a lot .... keep an eye on his page for your friend

Very onit especially if they see a english plates plus you have to get into and out of the ports which are favorites for dvsa and there french counterparts to sit
However you would be amazed how cheap it is to send stuff out of britian on a lorry providing you can get it onto off of a curtain sider this may open up the realms of slightly bigger machines aswell

Thanks for that,I think he intends to get it delivered but will want to tow it around locally down there.

Yep they are certainly onit - lots of roadside checks esp if you new to the area - he would do well to stay within his limits at 2.5t and buckets.
Someone was stopped recently with a Yan B25V - set of buckets - some fuel in drums and part s**t on the tracks - apparently threw the book at him
