glutton for punishment Rich ... must be a hell of a deal and assume an out for your current DX140 LCR
I should add here that IMHDO Rich's hyd issues he's had, that we've discussed in PMs are a bit of a rogue issue bad luck and poor support ... the identical machine that Alex had on hire at the lake job back in '17 was a superb tool and the seat time I had in it; I loved it and so did Alex ... was a hell of a tool

was powerful and dug like hell in rock

and graded beautifully

even made me look OK when I was leveling the tip areas

I've spent some time on a 2020 Doosan (8 ton) recently. It has had hydraulic issues from new. Little fits when you extend the dipper etc. The 20 year old case they also have is a far nicer machine to use. The Doosan went back to dealer to be fixed but as far as I can tell it's still jerky and frustrating when grading. Wouldn't be happy if it was my own machine

Any Hyundai influence in the dash 7s or too soon for that yet?
Not as yet I dont believe, and hope not Im definately not a fan, i had a brand new 330 and it was a horrid , slow under powered yoke. And like sitting on a park bench to boot

If it feels the same as the current one , it could be free and Id still leave it.

But yes its an out for mine. Id want to make sure the warrenty was 5 years at least this time.

Long warranties like 5 years are often just headline figures to grab your attention and make a deal more tempting. After 1 year it'll probably exclude anything that wears, electrics, possibly engine and tie you to dealer servicing. If long warranties are a deal maker or breaker make sure you know whats covered.
