yes please ... gudgeon pins and main caps & bolts would be nice too please -- two rods, one piston ...... don't want to be greedy on the pistons ... I'm sure there will be others want one

£100 per piston, you’ll never find another one and £50 for a con rod maybe a bit big to post though
not got nothing a bit smaller even the pistons out of my truck are tiny by comparison

Ooh, that's not too bad. Any ideas on transport? Happy if they go to Druid in your next pass? Bit skint right now (lol!) But ping me bank details and will sort in new year? Would like a piston please - will balance up with Druids order.

Must admit I’m disappointed seeing an engine leave mogman in bits, I mean, there must be a machine that needs re-powering or an electric car that could do with an engine conversion

Wish it was a V12
As for crank weight

6.25 tonnes as it is on the ‘Jones’ crane @V8Druid
A bit lighter than the gearbox by 1.4 tonnes

18” so far Got a few large air vessels to remove (it was an air start engine)

If I see him/the piston before you do I’ll happily pay and collect mate (but there is very little chance I’ll subsequently give it to you!!!).
