You need to find a piece of hollow section that slips over your posts, weld a heavy lump on to the top to act like a hammer and then weld a handle to each side to hold onto. The rest is just some elbow grease and you'll have your posts in in good time.

thanks for the right suggestions, I should also make a gate or a strong tilting barrier to block access to a country path, in my part have the bad habit of dumping the debris of waste materials and debris in the land in the suburbs, some suggestion thank you

if you can handle them ........ cheap, stack-able and no one is likely to steal them ...... and a good use of old tyres

grazie per i giusti suggerimenti, intelligente come un buon meccanico, che idea brillante, un mio amico ha usato vecchi bidoni di ferro allineati in file piene di pietre e detriti per farci un piccolo muro di sostegno.

Those petrol post drivers aren’t worth a wank. No way you’ll drive normal fence posts with them any further than a foot into the ground.

interesting idea that, in your pic., but must use a hell of a lot more concrete ..... have seen the rammed earth ones many times, but using concrete must make for one solid wall

and this is one hell of a pile of tyres .... would burn rather well and probably ground all aircraft for miles around

have said for years, that anyone coming up with an economic/good/viable solution to recycling used tyres would make millions ... just from flogging the idea, without actually lifting a finger

I think they vibrate not been that close to them in use just seen the aftereffects they put them in quite quickly and as the clips are built into the stakes no staples but the fences just dont seem as sturdy as a 4 or 6 inch wooden post sich a small surface are stopping the post moving sideways

I think they were orignally designed for similar posts, what the Yanks call T-posts. Clipex is good stuff, I do a fair bit of it. They've taken some time to get the UK products up to scratch, but are getting there now. Had many problems with mis-spaced slots, galvanising tolerances and the like.

I bought a petrol driver for Clipex, but on chalky ground it's no use. Even after pilot drilling with a 1m long 22mm SDS drill, it struggles and it's quicker to use a mandraulic driver. Just not enough weight.

I've just bought an Atlas Copco LPD-T,. weighs in at 33kg, so should be much better, might even do scaffold poles into chalk also. Fingers crossed- it's due sometime this week.
