Website review please

Hi guys,

So here is my new website for the 'digger and driver hire' side of my business. It's not my main website (or buisiness). I'm simply aiming to create a site that will rank well for anyone seaching for a digger and driver in my local area.

Images have location optimised tags, and there's some extra fluff on there such as a few pages on attachments etc. I've tried to optimise it for mobile searches, and make it really easy for people on site to find me quickly and call me easily.

Any comments welcome, especially from people with a bit of knowledge in this area. I'm self taught, and I appreciate that SEO is a bit of a black art. Despite advice to the contrary, for businesses such as mine local landing pages still seem to work the best- at least, that's what my competitors are ranking on, therefore, that's what I've done to start with. Looks good, Maybe a automatically scrolling gallery at the top showing your machine with attachments. Basically the photos on your attachments page but without a customer having to click through to that. I.e oh look he has a machine with a .... - to get their interest

I get what you're saying, and I think we'd all be interested if we found a site like that. However my main target client isn't- I want a builder or DIYer to be able to google 'digger in xx', my page loads quick and they have the phone number there in front of them to click and call straight away. The main thing for me is getting the page to appear when googled. Like I said, landing pages for each town are what my competitors are currently using (and getting first apge rankings for)- any more advice on this specific SEO would be great if anyone knows anything.

Specialist attachments are mentioned, with a link to the attachment page, and the three pics used show a grab, tilt hitch and a bucket on backwards. More than your average plant hire pics at least

very good Ruben ..... only other comment would be ..... slow down the recommendation banner at the bottom ..... too quick to read, even on the third read for some of 'em ..... and they're very good ways to get interest

Looking good...maybe some pictures of finished work, before, during and after?, a gallery section, with the references to suit?
On the FAQ, on the question about taking muck to the front of the house with “4wd power barrow” it takes you to your attachments section rather than the one about the power barrow in the site map? Could even just put a pic of it at the bottom of the attachments page of it as well? we all know that’s it’s not one, but it’s just something else for whoever is viewing the site to see what you have?

Definitely need a gallery with some before and after photos.

Your menu is to long on mobile mode and the bottom item is hidden by the banner

Looks good mate - the main photo on your home page is a bit out of focus though and possibly takes a bit of professionalism away from the first impressions imo.
Good relevant content too, definitely gives a customer an insight into what you offer.
Spread links to your site everywhere, getting people to click to it will raise your rankings. If you have a Facebook/Twitter etc page that you can occasionally update and link to I’m pretty sure that sort of traffic helps your SEO jazz too.

see if you can fix the 'not secure' as google will heavily penalise you in searching results for it.
