Wonder if the bloke still makes them. Gave me a tour of his workshop once was making a metal sign for Madonna at the timeNever knew they were called that. Yeah it’s an early post punched, before the gay tube design.
5.75 at the moment in plasticHow much for cement?
Paid £5.30/bag from Burdens recently for whole pallet, cheapest I've had for a good while.
Travis wouldn't go under 7 quid for ages but started doing deals again
overinflatedWhilst we’re talking tyres- anyone ever seen one go like this? Concave in the middle 🫣 The photos really don’t do it justice, it’s a savage dip.
It’s not flat, it’s got 40psi in it! The car had been shaking a bit over 50 but I just assumed it had dropped a balance weight. Needless to say, it’s parked up and a new pair of tyres on order.
Had avons do that, the internal bands snappedoverinflated
underinflation will wear the edges of the tyre, over wears the centreHad avons do that, the internal bands snapped
The 1 great thing about the Izuzu grafter is the turning circle, wayyyy easier than transit or rangerYeah amazingly tough tyres really. 12ft the new trailer is. Anyone who says go 14ft needs to spend a week trying to move plant around in deepest Dartmoor! In fairness the Navara isn't helping either too bloody long but the 360deg camera is very helpful at least you can see the near side up against the bridge wall
Oooh nice to see a bit of millingAs we finished early today I got a head start on tomorrows job- digger and knocker dropped off and the fence pulled out.
Then a bit of sawmilling. Nice straight logs, making 300x150 sleepers. Nice when you take the edges off with a template and then your middle line ends up right in the centre. View attachment 81468View attachment 81469View attachment 81470View attachment 81471
Surprised at that for a band to snap on a proper tyreContinental actually.
You not laying concentric pattern yet?Screed in today, we do all the prep and have a guy come in with his pump and lay.. easiest stuff in the world to lay must buy myself some tripods & dapple barsView attachment 81466View attachment 81467
On my lottery list is a grafter with a custom 5th wheel and a 5ton trailer behind. Should be able to take a 3.3t with buckets legally and fit anywhereThe 1 great thing about the Izuzu grafter is the turning circle, wayyyy easier than transit or ranger
Wouldn't be stupidly expensive i wouldn't think? On my lottery list is a grafter with a custom 5th wheel and a 5ton trailer behind. Should be able to take a 3.3t with buckets legally and fit anywhere
We discussed this on site actually, not a single designer laid it out like that for this job, gave it to 3 different suppliers and they all came back similar layouts. You not laying concentric pattern yet?

Must say having personally used ufh for 20 years, it’s never been a problem not laid concentric.
Clip rails are my friend!I remember the first ufh system I laid as an apprentice 20+ years ago, every room was concentric and fastened with single clips![]()
