Ha what a twat I've got one and the chassis is like 4" the whole way through. Transits have a much deeper section at that point

Long live the Sherpa 😂

I think my old man still has his Aluminium dropside body off one of them sat on a farm near by, Unless its been scrapped by now without his knowing,
To be fair its sat there for ten years plus now, maybe 15 so we couldnt blame the farmer.

If anyone needs one and its stil in any usable state.

The XLWB LDV Convoys were indeed prone to cracking in the chassis just there, I had to plate mine.

But what did he expect putting nearly 4 tonne right at the stress point? Not even over the rear axle!

used to have a lovely little flat bed trailer made from a tranny Ali milk float bed ... 11' x 6' and 30cwt units under it ..... carried some stuff on that over the years and regret selling it

Easy done, and at least he’d got it well tied on!

Was pulled back and drove on apparently 👍

Judging by the camber on the road, I bet that’s what put him in, especially if it’s a self tracker rear steer. Slight camber putting her over on the verge and she caught and pulled him in. No stopping that and definitely not drivers fault.

Got pushed over by an oncoming vehicle I think, camber and verge did the rest. Driver obviously tried hard to pull her out of it when you see where the tractor unit is.
