Planning a walking holiday somewhere in the uk next year. Any one suggest a good few days worth of walking. Likewise is anyone on here local to a national park or similar who'd be happy to accommodate my f***ed pickup in there yard for a few days and give us a lift from there to a start point and back from the end? Obviously happy to pay for storage/lifts.

Very rare.

But decided I need one next year that's just away walking... If I go to a vintage show it's Carnage and if I'm near the truck then I'll end up getting in it and either going to buy stuff or going home because I'm bored.

I enjoy walking. So naf it lets go wondering

Would recommend the lake district, just got back from a week away there myself. Scenery is superb. Got scafell pike out of the way on the first day, walk around Thirlmere lake the next and then over to Whinlatter for a woodland walk. Rented a cottage just below the kirkstone pass in the middle of nowhere. No phones, people or motors, loved it.

I'm 40mins drive from the Cairngorms, with the funicular railway broken down you've got no option but walk

Brecon Beacons National Park from our door step Rory ..... could get well lost up there
Accommodation and toast, with Lister's honey, available - as you well know .... you didn't quite finish the jar on yer last visit ... and haven't seen Lister for a while, since he sold his Liebherr

You should come up to lewis and harris well away from any hassles and pretty good walks with plenty to see depending on weather

I think it needs repairs done and they decided it be best to go bust rather than sort it
