Yep exactly thatThe tree is down safely, what more do you want.
Post that on Arbtalk ...and stand well back

The venerable disco 2.Speaking of Arbtalk, trees and snatchblocks- this evenings job is to put this poor old thing on rear coils (I know all the pros and cons, kept it on air when I was doing 10k a year but I've only done 1k in 11 months, and 800 of that was to LR runs in the peak district, and on the last one I ended up changing a bag on the roadside).
Got a semi emergency job to do on Friday with a guy I know through A/T, apparently a winch will come in handy... Best check that out too![]()
Had to jack it up and use the nanocom to fool it into letting me drive the 2 miles to the shed.
And why do they insist on badly powdercoating 4x4 stuff ffsnot even 3 years old/20k miles. Hammerite would be better!
£50-60 an hour sounds cheap to me!Todays job - wasting 2 of us for another day in college resitting Part-L course to satisfy the latest demands from MCS. Its a course that ive done before - and was supposed to be a one off, yet MCS want it every 5 years. Course content is 20 years out of date and its an utter box ticking waste of time. Got another week of it next week for my Gas tickets. Next time your heating engineer charges you £50-£60 an hour for what seems a simple job - dont moan about it! #ratherbesatonatractor
yes you live in a different area! If you came down to live and work in Torridge you wouldn't be buying a new E27 for sure!£50-60 an hour sounds cheap to me!
did wonder ?Zooport?

£175 a day …. Get that on the books for a decent qualified heating engineer. Charging that for SE is ridiculous!350 for the pairlike I say though the dad doesn’t do anything.. like whatsoever

I have actually been thinking of formalising my building work skills by doing a plumbing course at the local college. I did a level 3 electrical installations to 17th edition a few years ago. I think for me it might make more sense than working for a local ground work company for £12-£13.50 a hour for the rest of my days. Any advice on the plumbing? Do you need to complete a nvq to do gass?Todays job - wasting 2 of us for another day in college resitting Part-L course to satisfy the latest demands from MCS. Well that didn't take long, easy when you're indoors and the tool box is just there!Speaking of Arbtalk, trees and snatchblocks- this evenings job is to put this poor old thing on rear coils (I know all the pros and cons, kept it on air when I was doing 10k a year but I've only done 1k in 11 months, and 800 of that was to LR runs in the peak district, and on the last one I ended up changing a bag on the roadside).
