do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
For a rotating grab.
I’m also in the process of building a tiltrotator, which is taking way toooooo long..!
they do tend to ..... mine was an ongoing process for well over a year IIRC .. as it developed (along with my knowledge and understanding of 'em, never having actually seen one - in the metal ) :giggle: .... what are you using for tilt ? helical or ram(s)?

Is the build of that long gone on cef?
well I keep trying to log in there occasionally, but to no avail ... was only thinking the other day I might email Julian AGAIN and implore him to update it (or let someone else ) ... assume it's still there if one could only get in there ?
pretty sure all the pix are still in my Photobucket - just looked and they are

if you scan throught the rest of the bucket there're the ongoing dev.s .. modding the Hill Qh for under it and plumbing that in etc. .

It’s what I do!
Ok so I’m guessing you won’t want to use offset when the grab is on! Why don’t you fit two manual taps on two tees on short hoses from the spool, run two hoses from there to the dipper!

Ok, il have another look on the laptop tomorrow. But im thinking your best forgetting about the change over valve, replace the foot valve with the pilot solenoid valve and divert the offset.

Use the joystick buttons to operate your diverter valve and this way your current aux switch over is done away with

Is there a way of taking a feed from somewhere else and controlling is by a solenoid valve?
It has been suggested that I may be able to get the feed directly from the main valve. I have tried teeing into one of the pump feeds but with no joy, there is no pressure.

You wont get flow at the pump line until a service is activated.

Do You want to give me a call to discuss what exactly your looking to do again, it can be easier than trying to write some times?

Thought i'd post this image of the solenoid valve that was the foot pedal.(Boom Swing)

is the foot pedal a proportional electric pedal??
No the foot pedal is manual and i'd replaced it with a solenoid valve that I purchased from EBay.
The next step was to divert the boom swing to a secondary auxiliary. I would then have two auxiliary's to operate tilt and rotate both from the rollers of each joystick.
But I am now thinking would I be better off placing valves in the tilty as you have done and run those from a single auxiliary circuit.

easier way to go ...
less plumbing to the tilty and only one single acting proportional service needed ...
unless you have proportional solenoid control on the tilty itself, with constant flow to them, which will give you independent variable speeds to tilt/rotate.
my prop. service is shared between all my functions, so cannot have fast rotate and slow tilt/vice versa ... but when sharing flow things slow down anyway and can vary the degree by increasing /decreasing the prop. flow to the VA-r manifold

My machine has double acting electro prop.
If I wanted tilt / rotate / hitch lock and aux would you know how I could achieve this?

You dont want constant flow going to the tilty.

I can talk you through it if you want to give me a call again some time👍
