Does anyone else have the nightly game of wondering round the house before bed trying to find all the battery powered light up decorations the Mrs has put everywhere and switch them off.
after last year no batteries everything on mains and all smart plug controlled on a routine inc outside Xmas lights (weve 3 Xmas trees up) 2 full size and a mini one in nursery bay window lol

how did you get the 'Tachi through the house to put them up Vin?:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I spent a long time thinking about that . I even thought it might be a bit big and that the kubota might be more suited . In the end I opted for reaching up . You’d be amazed at the work that went in to making sure the tinsel made it all the way to the other end of the curtain pole .

I take it your not shutting the curtains over Christmas😂

Don’t start me on the curtains 🤦‍♂️We bought this house as stop gap while we got ready to build . It needed tidying up . The missus told the plumber to put the rad under the window . I said this bad idea but the bastard (supposed to be my mate ) put it there anyway . Now we can’t draw the curtains as they go to the floor and will block the heat . I suggested cut them down , but apparently that won’t look right so now I’ve fitted vertical blinds so the feckin curtains are only for show .
At least my bit of tinsel is safe for the festive period whilst curtaingate is still unresolved .

Looking forward to the 21st when it starts to get lighter in the morning. Xmas tree selling is always fun, enjoy the time off and use it to make sure we do plenty with our daughter and the grand kids. The tree decs and lights are all down to SHMBO. I would quite happily do without them!!

It took me quite a long time to explain having curtains dropping over the top of the radiator wasn’t the most efficient way of heating the room, we reached a compromise, shortened the curtains a bit and added some weights in the bottom so they can be pushed back on the window cill,(now the cats not so happy 😳🤣)

and the 'reindeer' outside in the flower bed on the patio

and the 15ft high tree outside the kitchen window that I have to put me boots on for and go outside to turn the outdoor supply off, on me patch ... nearly fell off the fence twice yesterday trying to get the lights on that !!!
will have to come back with a pic of that ... didn't get one last night
I'd say f**k it and throw the main trip for the night 🤣
