I’m looking for an unbraked 750kg 8X4 trailer .
Ifor have a new eurolight trailer EL071-2512
But I’m not sure it’s available as I can’t find any pics of it just spec on website . It’ll be for garden duties mainly and occasional work use . Any recommendations of others worth a look ?

why bother with such a small trailer?
Keep at home . Garden rubbish etc occasional work use . Light use . No brakes so nothing to maintain . Can tow behind car as well so can get around our ridiculous local recycle centre rules

I didn’t know you’d made them !
I tried their website and the unbraked trailer longest version is 2m . I’d ideally like 2.4 so I can get sheet material in it if I need to .

they do the same size as I used to ...
8ft 1" x 4ft 1" -- so you can fit 8x4s in the bed ...
drop the tail and slide 'em out ;)
Mike Carsons (their general manager) may even have nicked that idea/spec. from me ...
Ifor's are all built on a 8 x 4 base so too small to take a full sheet inside/on the bed

they'd do you an unbraked version of the one below ... just ask 'em

word of warning - DO NOT fit a jockey wheel to an unbraked trailer -- it'll get away from you ... just put a prop stand on it ... if you can't lift it off the ball it's too heavy on the nose

Be careful if you want it for tip duties as some sites have a maximum internal size and will get the tapes out.

Blue Line at Sutterton, near Boston. As long as you have the width, you can prop sheets up. Easier to get them in and out.

Let me have a measure of one I’ve got. you (or anyone) else can have it for nothing.. it’s a project that requires work, but ideal for going to the tip…. And leaving it there 🤣

plaster board being the exception
just drop the tail to slide them out the back with an 8ft 1" body Bri

used to get that here .... " I don't possess a smaller trailer - I can unload it here, now, or on the floor outside the gates, after you've gone home - your choice " was my approach

Right arseholes here . We have a rule that you can go in with a 3.3t van but not a 3.5t van . Every new in the area fly by night tradesman taking there work rubbish in in long wheel base traffics while I have skips on my sites but if I turn up with a sofa or bed in my 3.5t van it can’t come in .

they were labour intensive to produce, for what they were, but got easier as we made more of them .. used to do 'em four at a time to keep the costs down

ditto ....... you now have to book a week in advance and get a 'chit' from the local town hall to dump a carrier bag ... God help you if you want to take a trailer in there :mad::mad: .... no chance with a mini van let alone a proper one

Similar story near me. I got turned away in a L200. Was told i could walk it in from outside the gates as a pedestrian..WTF.
A R Rover Sport came in towing a trailer and that was within the rules and unloaded mountains of shite... Bonkers.
I think when idiots fail the entry test of being a traffic warden, they get sent to run these facilities.

For us there's no vans allowed, you can get a pre booked slot but that's only for little vans, they won't accept a dropside transit. No trailers and no walk ins. You must sit outside in a huge que even if you only have 1item to drop off.

You can understand why people ring fly tipping fred for a cheap rubbish removal quote, just because it's so much agro to do it yourself.
