Powertoolmate always seem to have various offers on. There’s a Facebook group that announced upcoming offers. Sometimes cheaper to buy in their website, other times ebay page is cheaper with offer codes etc. https://www.powertoolmate.co.uk/deals/

Tbh I don't think Makita batteries deals are ever more than a couple of quid off. Unless screwfix do the 120 quid deal for the drill charger and 2 batteries and you sell the drill and charger

Used to regularly get offers from FFX, but you don’t see too many good deals on batteries lately. I think the days of two 5ah batteries for under £100 are gone….
It’s sometimes quite good value buying a tool with a battery or two. If you need more tools, I mean who doesn’t need more tools?
On the Fastfix website you can add multiples of batteries to any particular tool you might want to add. Just have to do a bit of homework to see if you are actually getting a deal or not. I have in the past found them to be very competitive, but not always.
Sadly there’s not a one stop shop that’s always the best deals. Have to look around and find the best place, they vary a lot and some that are offering a good deal on one item often aren’t on something else!
Look at ITS too, often have deals.

Toolstation have a mega deal on a drill, SDS drill and a couple of 5ah batteries and a charger but not in stock anywhere I can find and not available for delivery. Just got to check sometimes with those deals if the units they are including are the better ones or the lower spec versions….

Yeah, the units sold through Toolstation and Screwfix are often budget Mickey Mouse jobbies dressed up to look decent.
The unavailable deal I’m talking about are brushless all metal gearbox tools, looks great value tbh.

I’ve just been into my local branch and they can’t get it sent inter-branch, and that can’t be delivered as is out of stock in their warehouse so must be collected from store.

I have a makita specialist literally 3 miles away. Picked a new sds from him the other day for £65. 18v has drill/hammer drill and chisle settings.
Had few bits off him over years.
Only thing I didn't get off him recently was the brushless grinder as that was on offer with 2x 5.0ah batteries.
Can't remember how much he said for 6.0ah batteries but I can find out if anyone needs.
