know what you're saying and totally agree, but that should have check/anti hose burst valves on every circuit to be compliant ..... but accidents do happen and would've been 100% better parked on the deck behind the truck

Maybe mine and your safer head is just thinking ‘ what’s the point in having kids stand under it when it could be safely on the floor’

I know it’s brand new, but I’ve seen rams split in half, metal pipework after check Valves leaking/split, and an entire grab fall off a grab wagon mid loading… (pivot pin had worn through!!) not that I’m paranoid!

it'll rebuild .. unscrew the tip adaptor/diffuser unit and replace .... then go to the euroconnector, unscrew the nut holding the liner in, cut it right back at the torch end, pull it out, slide in a new one, trim to length, then screw in your new adapter/diffuser ... new tip and shroud, good as new

Five metres is a handy length, I have one and it’s fine with 1mm wire

will happily run 0.8mm too Doob .. just keep the liner & tips clean ..... I have a small Tweco 6m which, if careful, will feed 0.6mm

I know they are intended to Al wire, but a teflon liner works really well with 0.6mm steel wire.

never fitted less than 5m torches to any of my migs .... even 4m were too short for bench work, let alone boats/tanks/anything else
