Anyone had any dealings with a sunward micro?

I wouldnt yet. Some nice features on that machine but the 3 year warranty is only all components for the first year - engine and "transmission" after that. And with the quality of the welding visible I would hope it would have included the chassis too but it doesn't. Let some others use them for a few years and see if they come around on the quality. Nowhere near Sany or Luigong yet.
The Kubota U10-5 I had recently was one of my all time top micro diggers. I would seriously consider one if I needed a mirco.

Thanks enough said!

Yeh Kubota looks banging but thinking just a bit costly for occasional work,Saying that it looks like it would cope with a lot of the work we do with the EC27D.

If there was a nice 0% finance offer then yeh!

Any other cheaper brands worth a look?

Yeh they must be cheap made to be around 4k cheaper than likes of kubota u10-5.The re sale value would prob be horrendous as well !
or Kubota are taking the piss by a few grand - 'cos they can  ...... only got to look at new vehicle prices to see they're all taking the piss, by keeping supplies artificially suppressed .... there never used to be shortage of supply of new chariots .. in fact usually a glut and deals to be had .. and on the flip side, the green agendas demonising anything that wasn't made last week and legislating it out of existence

I don't think Kubota are taking the piss as much as Bobcat are! Reality is its expensive to manufacture something and ship it to the UK. At least the Kubota will last forever if serviced. And even then be worth what used to be 6k - more like 9-10 now Id have thought. Expensive to purchase - sure! - especially compared to where things were 2+ years ago now. But I actually think you would loose more with a Sunward in terms of depreciation, even though its a lower cost initially.

@Pedrod355 what are you looking for in a micro? There's almost two classes of micro these days and only the Bobcat plays in both when it comes down to how narrow it will go. Over/under 750mm

One of the Sunward dealers is always posting on 8t below plant page on Facebook, but never puts any prices up. If it’s such good value for money then show us!

@Gunners ,Really just for those jobs where the ec27 is to cumbersome and probably hander for towing about in areas where there’s more eyes on you! Don’t need one to be the narrowest as prob only going through gates at most.
