If you build a new trailer who/where certifies it?

Is it not similar to an iva test?

It will need an IVA test, used to be done at a dvsa site, I know the local one has shut for testing goods vehicles, but kept a building for IVA tests.

How big a trailer?
I`ve got a feeling less than 3500kg is a bit easier than over.

if it's less than 3500kg ....... don't build a NEW one ....... refurb an old one nudge nudge .... complete new build is a bit of a ball ache now

wheels under or either side Aiden? Meredith and Eyre are a good supplier for hitches/running gear ... Peak if you want to go springs ... rocking beam's a must if going that route (axle assemblies - double eye springs) DET3900 or DET4500 Peak Trailers Ltd (cylex-uk.co.uk)

You can still get them done even in lockdown.
