Tilty is so handy for everything. Makes a neater job of the the trench with the digger on the piss (well, as neat as the operator can- not my forte!)

Sold my main business today. I had had enough before Covid , but had promised our daughter I would fund her through university. She finished this summer so I was able to cut a deal before the budget (just). Gives me enough to retire on a modest lifestyle which is fine by me. Have a six month reducing hours handover, so I’ll be free by spring.
Having worked six or seven days a week for as long as I can remember it will be a big transition.

It’s an interesting concept selling a business which is basically built around yourself, apart from the machines are tangible assets is it just basically your contacts and order book doing the military stuff they’ve bought?

New owner could mess it up on first job and never get asked back ? Or competition nip in or is it closed shop long contracts type of work not individual tenders.

Enjoy the retirement will miss the euromach pics always fancied a go on one.

Generally small business sales are valued on contract value..got contracts in place it gives a buyer guaranteed income regardless.. then you can start to add in asset value etc! Otherwise it’s just a case of flogging assets and passing the work onto others!

Lovely little job in the commune, extending parking for a carport etc.
Little bits of tidying like knocking spoil about under and around trees is a 5min pop with the tilty on...very zen.
Blind it over tomorrow.
Weather changes everything in this game.
