Tapered shovel & other hand tools

Evening,
Could any of you recommend a maker/supplier of good quality/value tapered shovels, spades, spits etc? I usually buy reasonable gear from a local tool shop (usual faithful, Ox etc type brands) but wonder if any of you wise guys could recommend any different from the norm, as to be honest the owner is a bit of a tit & his Mrs talks for England & is no looker! I could also buy the same gear a fair bit cheaper online but we’ve always bought from them, ‘keep it local’ etc etc. We swapped to Belle barrows on a recommendation a while ago & struggle to think of the size of the scrap pile of old builders barrows we must have amassed over the years!

I really rate the roughneck range. Not found anything better from micro shovels to grain shovels.

All our tools are insulated so we get a bit of a carp selection but recently we go some neilson grafts and shove holers and they really good tbh. Considering the rate that the gangs break them usually these have lasted a long time and are really nicely designed.

I really rate the roughneck range. Not found anything better from micro shovels to grain shovels.

I love my long handle roughneck shovel. The clapper spade looks a bit wimpy though.
