Seen CCTV footage from local shop few years back before tool tethers of a Mr and Mrs "Asian" ...he wanders about she casually slips power tools down her big robe/dress thingy...and walk out with with 1k of tools.

hopefully straight into the arms of waiting security ... then play the race card

Local supplier I’ve used for years allows known customers “around the back”, and it’s surprising how many extra things you remember you need when walking past the racks of stuff.

It's really annoying that you can't look at anything. Especially with screws and fixings that you aren't entirely sure what you want. And even worse now Screwfix have done away with there catalogue. And there staff rarely know what the thingy is that you want.

I just use my phone.I’ve usually found what I wanted and checked stock beforehand anyhow.

was in there (screwfix) last week ... look on line, check stock and write the item no. down ... gave 'em the numbers, paid and left ... easier than peeing about with their book and scrawling it on their tickets ... pencils were handy though

I would love to visit harbour freight. I would happily visit America just to be a tourist of there shops.

Not my pictures, but i have spent hours in Home Depot in nyc when we've been.. Its just behind Bloomingdales, so this is my treat for walking round there..
Brought inpact drills and bit sets back in carry on bag more than once.
