Anyone using one of these? My mates been looking at the Clarke ones from machine mart for his tractor (finally getting it out of my shed😆) , came across this sealey version.
Going in a fairly sheltered location between his bungalow and a raised garden 👍

if it's anything like my polytunnel, he'll need to nail it to the planet :oops:..... made a base frame for mine .... would've been long gone otherwise, with all the winds we've had these last few months

I lost it into the field the year before, even though it had half a tonne of sand bags completely around its 8" ground flap, holding it down .... 'twas a wild night mind and was lucky it didn't do more damage than a bent roof bar ... has been great peace of mind this year, with it weighted to the ground with 300kgs of PFC attached to it :giggle::giggle:

Seen plenty of mess tents etc take off on scout camps but to break free of half a ton of sand is some going! Your base frame looks a great solution for your tunnel though 👍

My Dad`s had the clarke version for 3 or 4 years, seems fine so far🤞
Sand bags round the bottom and old 20liter adblue drums filled with water and small straps to the corner uprights inside.
Only damage was a bit of corrugated sheet blow into it one night, and made a small cut, repaired inside and out with decent duct tape and seems to hold OK.

yeh I couldn't believe it either .... but was a wild night, as said
only draw back with the base frame, from the garage point of view, is the front member at 6" tall ... might notice it trying to get in or out :ROFLMAO: ... or when your sills ground out on it, if you ain't in a 4x4 .. it does however make a great difference to the headroom in there now :giggle:(y)

's a great idea ... wish I'd thought of that one at the time

Had to repair our cover in a couple of places ... bought some green duct tape, which was a pretty good match and applied it both sides ... has lasted well and'll replace some of it when the weather is better (if that EVER happens)
