What are peoples thoughts or experiences regarding replacing bucket pins and bushes ? Is it worth paying for original parts from a dealer or aftermarket parts, (probably from Digbits) ?
I want to tighten up my Takeuchi TB280fr, bucket pins, bushes and links, its not bad just want to keep on top of it as i plan to keep it longer than i have kept machines in the past and buckets clattering about are one of my pet hates.
Pins from Digbits are about a third of the price of Takeuchi parts and tipping and H links about halve the price, Im not looking to do a cheap job, just don't want to be doing it again in 1K hours.

I imagine they are much the same as Digbits, I’m thinking more about the quality of aftermarket parts in relation to the much more expensive genuine Takeuchi parts.
they have a good rep. Jerry
not sure if MST do this sort of stuff, but could try them too

As for quality, as long as there hardened pins and bushes you should be fine and last every bit as long.
Some companies supply ET24 pins and call them hard. Well there not and the hardened bushes waer them out super quick..

Il send you over a for some later today at some stage👍
Cheers Aiden, I’m looking at doing the tipping links and pins as well as there’s a bit of wear in the whole lot and I can’t see any point in just doing part of it.
