They use it for building the jetties around the lake. Also many years ago my old fellas 801 was put on it to go and do a job (can't remember what exactly) at the house on the island.

in august we spent 3.5 weeks doing the nc500 and the Isle of Mull and the Cairngorms

so coming down from the 900 foot high pass from appelcross which is interesting in a 7.6m 130hp camper van when its blowing 50mph winds on the top we saw this....

also militants local in appelcross defending the beach with a ditch and boulders

My auntie lives on Harris, when we were in Ullapool thought about it but didn’t have the time. Hopefully back to Mull in feb if covid plays ball

that lamp post is on the ferry slipway coincidently reading this waiting to leave the house to go across that ferry its only 5 minutes from my house and cross it at least once a week
