I have reached the stage in my life where a magnetic drill is on my wish list. This one popped up locally. Anyone got any comments?
I have virtually no experience apart from playing with a mates M18 mag drill. 110v no problem for me, that’s what we use mostly when it’s not cordless.

I have a alfra rotabest I would need to check which model but seem to remember it has a gearbox with several speeds. My only complaint is the magnet isn’t very strong . I have a smaller mag drill which I use for site work just because the alfra is a bit of a handful.

Bought today. £150 and he threw in the frame he made for drilling safes 🤔

Apparently he used to work opening safes and the newer ones didn’t have enough metal for the magnet, hence the frame. I didn’t ask wether it was his day job or just a part time out of hours occupation for cash 😂.
