I have a 2007 Kubota KX 41 3V mini digger with 2250 hours from new. Recently it started loosing power on the right hand track and dipper arm once it got warm. After many hours trawling forums to no avail and much subsequent searching I have found and fixed the problem. It was the pressure relief valve on the control block. Once dismantled I found that the pin at the base behind the spring was damaged so eventually found and bought a new relief valve. Problem sorted so don't let anyone tell you it's the hydraulic pump or anything more complicated

Sorry no pics taken.the valve control block is under the cab floor at the front of the machine.pull the right hand track lever and you will find the slice that controls the right track and dipper arm and it was the top relief valve that was damaged.the machine worked fine for up to half an hour then lost power on the dipper and the right hand track but if you jerked the track lever it moved ok.so the damage was making the valve stick.it is working perfectly now

Hi Sam, I have been looking for this fix for years, exactly the same symtoms as om my digger. Do you have a part number or link to correct part, thanks

Without a workshop manual or schematic, are you sure you’ve changed the correct valve? Was the one that you removed damaged?

Checked out schematics on nett and am pretty sure I am on the correct valve, winter here in Norway now so will continue testing in Spring, all suggestions much appreciated thanks
