hello could someone give me information on this mechanical shovel thanks. I think that in terms of dimensions it is the competitor of the legendary 963 caterpillar. I think that currently, the crawler machines are produced by john deere, caterpillar and liebherr I'm wrong. new holland wanted to produce a similar one with macmoter if I'm not mistaken. anyway nice machine in my opinion what do you think?

clearly my attention is focused on the rear engine and Z-shaped arm machines with hydrostatic balance as set-up and conformation, I believe that the parallel arm and front engine bulldozer type ones are out of production. thanks

Closer to a 953. The D66 didn’t have a good reliability reputation and not many sold. Dresser industries came out with a similar sized machine in the 80’s. I didn’t know about the potential NH Macmoter joint venture. Two machines that Macmoter produced were the LS5C and L6C, they were similar sizes to the Cat 931, International 100 and 125’s but with the hydrostatic drive. I’d like to have tried one. As for the Benati, never heard of them. Are they still in production?

Benati went bankrupt (I think it was absorbed by the Iveco New Holland group, the daughter of the accountant Bacchini sold spare parts and mini machines some time ago, now I don't know), I would like to know more about Dresser and who produced the first model of tracked loader with the Z-shaped arm shape and the rear engine, the others were tractors with a front engine, rear tank like a bulldozer, the rear engine I think is used to balance the machine like the trim and center of gravity of the John Deere, I don't know anything about it in Europe, they are not sold online, no information even on Wikipedia, thanks, sorry if I'm being annoying and fussy, thanks
