Of course the battery died when I'm all set and about to do a bunch of digging.
Am new to this so wondering if I can recharge this battery like I do on my car or atv using an overnight charge unit?

In the pic I gather the battery is a JCB 332 / L2525, 12V, is that the model?
Is this the kind of battery that can be charged?

Might even need to replace it, seems like the original battery.
Machine has 2150 hours on it.

Many thanks for any help...

Yeah - stick a charger on it. If it is just flat and everything else is ok (ie alternator) then get it jump started and go digging - the running engine should charge it up for you.

Thought this was going to be about a battery powered mini digger, came in to take the piss. Couldn't believe my luck when I read the first sentence, then read on...

I'll go quitely.

(Just jump it and get on until you can get a new batery, as MB says above!)

Thanks for the quick reply!
Looks like pic didn't load at first but it's there now if it matters.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Do the Usual checks, battery clamps tight and not cracked, fan belt okay, alternator leads on and okay.
good clean earth point to machine from -ve pole lead and engine to chassis earth lead points .. hell of a continuous cranking amp (CCA) rating for a small machine/battery
