do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
did flag this up a while ago, but looks like they're continuing to press ahead with what could have some serious implications to everyone / anyone who buys non-OE parts for vehicles or modifies their vehicles including non road use equipment

Don't complain - suggest what's better
Yet more government over reach where it is not needed, but I guess the true reason is to get old vehicles off the road in the hunt for "net zero".
You would have thought they had enough to worry about with record borrowing, inflation starting to get out of control and the war in Ukraine. Sort the important stuff first.

So it's buy a £50-60,000 car or get the bus and be employed at minimum wage?
These office workers in London are so thoughtful.
All so coal or gas can be burnt in a power station miles away so I can charge my car at home, with all the energy losses involved.
On the flip side ,for the big money there will be more new cars sold and and more people to fill the minimum wage s**t jobs vacated by Europeans that have gone home.
