Groundworker Job Vacancy

Hi All,

We are looking for ground workers to join our team and assist us with current projects which include small works, landscaping and environmental projects and all aspects of Groundworks ranging from to adoptable sewers/drainage to foundations and plot drainage on housing developments, commercial works and domestic jobs all types of footpaths and track construction, environmental works, pond works etc.

We run a fleet of modern equipment with tilt rotators, and work on some high end and prestigious jobs.

The right candidate will be self motivated, work well in a team as well as on their own, and always strive to complete works to the best of their ability.

The role would require the correct candidate to undertake the following:

- Dumper Driving

- Banksman Work

- Road and Driveway Construction Works

- Storm Water Drainage Works

- Foul Drainage Works

- Pipe Laying (Plastic, Clay, Concrete)

- Concreting

- Kerb Laying

- Finishing Works

- Reading Plans

- Using Laser Levels

Might help if you put down a geographic area / hours required /qualifications and experience level required and some idea of range of reimbursement levels!?

I love the term prestigious. It adds a air of having a stick rammed up your arse whilst working in dust mud and associated s**t that comes with groundworks.

I can only assume you give at least a hour long tea and scone (pronounced schone) break in the summer, with the option to substitute the scone for a tea cake? Toasted of course.

Ouch :) but bang on.
I have had one or two prestigious jobs and my coxis still hurts sometimes.

Dont know about bespoke ...more like heath robinson !!

Oh while your here can you put in some little pads to sit a carport on ..er ..like what this afternoon 🤦‍♂️three more to sit in (hope they are in the right spots) then stone it up and move on, 5 days work to do in 3 before we escape for a few days.
