You’re not alone with this statement at all! :-(
I saw this s**t show coming and made the desicion to sell out just after the election. We got the deal completed at 11pm last night with one hour to spare before the capital gains tax rule changed.

If I read it right there is one temporary get out clause regarding pickups. If the company ordered or had the vehicle before April 24 the new rules won’t apply until April 29.

Correct about the get out so I'm ok for the foreseeable. After that it's back to private ownership and probably something more fun 😊

So that’s the second forum member this week to sell up? 🙁

Problem with that pickup ‘get out’ is by April 29 pickup values will be bugger all! No problem I guess if they are leased for the next 5 yrs.

I'd call that pretty astute business acumen ;)
