Much harder to send the extra hydraulics out with the dipper though.

For the amount there gaining it'd be better with a VA boom.... I don't like VA's but you'd gain that extra reach with no loss of strength and less weight

Fully agree with Roy for what they have gained reach wise, they would have been better with a va boom, from a cost point of view surely a factory spec va boom would have been cheaper than fabricating the extending stick

Bit of an odd one that someone would go to all that expense and hassle I wouldnt want someone buggering up my machine by putting that on.
