Does the like button kill interaction on posts?

as for killing responses .... i don't think so ,.... if folk have summat to contribute / say ... they will ... the buttons at least express how a post is received/perceived by many who may not want to respond with anything other than a tacit head nod or a laugh/whatever .... but a fair Q Giles

I don't have any issues with editing a post after I've liked it, no matter what symbol I use??? or how often I edit
likewise can change the like symbol as often as i like? .... even weeks later !!
and agree Robert, a straight smile would also be a useful addition to the selection .... don't always wanna be LMAO-ing

But I feel it’s sometimes a good way to like or give credit to someone’s rely who beat you to the same response you would of left. Or they have helped you with the answer to your own thread question.
Could always do with a few more photos in my opinion though

I think the like button stops a lot of spam type messages it also encourages posts.

For example I may just like a post because it is indeed cool and a job well done etc but I also dont have anything to add to it. so if the like wasn't there I wouldn't do anything at all .Worth remembering forums are a failing product really so they are quieter everywhere
