I’m looking for anyone in the Telford area looking for 3 to 6 weeks work starting next mouth, trenching job.
Can either be with or without there own digger (8 ton minimum) must be willing and able to help out, out of machine as well.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
doesn't sound unreasonable to me  what's going in the bottom of it, cables or water pipes ?

But to be fair if don’t think you can pull 100m a day you need not reply. This is directed to any candidates.
Think the gas bonus was paid after 100m a day. Early 90s, its near me telford but I'm busy. Probably easiest to get man and machine off plant hire company, probably cheaper also

Sounds like a nice job, a 6ton will be fine on this(so your not narrowing your options) 👍🏼
Most machines would be fine but you’d be struggling with production with anything smaller than an 8ton machine.

What you puttin in the trench Kev?
Is it just through farmers fields?
I'm with Rory on this one, trencher would be loads faster and neater too.
I may be able to help with a trencher if you give me some more detail.

Hi
2no 150mm electric ducts
70% of this will be on framers fields
If a trencher can go wide enough and deep enough then I’m willing to see what the cost is.
If it was to be trenched it could go down to 400mm wide.
The discharge would need to be one side only, is this possible?

Right trencher will go wide enough. Easily knock down to 1-2m with the right machine as well. Depending on the size of duct you where laying the right type of trencher and proactive contractor should be able to lay two flexible duct's in trench as they go. A BIG advantage if the ground contains pockets of water/issues.

Spoils on most trenchers the size you require would discharge single side anyway. Cost will be the big issue alongside locating any existing utilitys before the trencher eats them.

Trencher is the better option IMHO, we often bring them in if the ground is shale/rock/clay and we are over 20m of trenching for water or cables. Think ours is something daft like £4 per meter.... which sounds expensive but in rock it would be far more with the digger. the one we hire in is just a baby though.

@sjs5060 is your man though.... top crowd!

Hi.
ducting is ridged and has to sitting on 75mm of granite dust so will have to go in after trencher.
