They wouldn't operate before Christmas because of the strikes. Then he caught covid (which I did think would finish him off). Once he tested negative they operated and sent him home the next day, only to have to readmit him a day later but there you go. He has had his share of the NHS budget so many times over I'm surprised the don't "accidentally" bump him off.
My dad's similar ... My reckoning he's had well over a million quid off NHS cancer. Heart valve, you name it. But he's paid well over that in taxes over the last 60 years so
was only thinking the other day that they've spent a few bob on me the last ten years (for which I am truly grateful)
if Trudeau were to get his way they'd have 'offed' the lot of us ...
I have nothing but praise for all the NHS folks (aside from the management parasites) and they should get a decent pay rise, particularly amongst the lower ranks/'foot soldiers' who work their nuts off and are often taken for granted ...
system would not work without them and it needs to be recognised
AND FFS scrap all these bloody 'targets' that must be totally demoralising for them ...
without the funding and feet on the ground, they're never ever going to meet this sh1t
teachers're the same .. more resources required and feet on the ground .. scrap all the crap target sh1t and start paying them for what they do do ..
a hell of a lot more than just classroom time.
I am amazed their unions don't have them working to rule ... system'd grind to a halt ....
might actually get the recognition of how ferked it is, that's needed, then
